Our first swim meet is this week! Thursday, May 27^th we will have an away meet at Pennbrooke Pines! PLEASE read as there have been some changes.

Our first swim meet will be a Regular Dual Meet. My previous email stated it would be a split session meet but I just received confirmation from Pennbrooke that their HOA approved a regular dual meet. This means ALL SWIMMERS should arrive at the pool at 4:30pm for warmups and a 5:30pm swim meet start. If this changes the status of your swimmer’s attendance, please change their status in the swim meet sign up or text Coach Sara (404-277-2313).

Please be sure you indicate if your swimmer is swimming in the meet by this Tuesday 5/25 at noon. This allows time for the coaches to put the line up together. If you know in advance that your child cannot make the meet, PLEASE, complete the meet signup that your child is not attending by noon Tuesday. If you do not declare that your swimmer is attending, we will assume your child is NOT attending and will not put them in the swim meet.

Social Distancing Protocols:

• All parents will sit outside the gate of the pool deck. Parents outside the gate are responsible for their own social distancing and mask wearing. Parents are not required to wear masks.
• Swimmers are recommended to wear their mask ON DECK. Please bring a plastic bag for your swimmer’s mask with their name on it so it does not get wet.
• All volunteers on the pool deck are recommended to wear a mask.

Volunteer Signups

PLEASE sign up for a volunteer position while signing up your child for the swim meet. All swim families are asked to volunteer for 5 positions throughout the swim season. Please note that all parents will be sitting outside of the pool deck, if you want a front row seat then volunteer! *All volunteers are required to wear masks on deck.

Please register for the swim meet by Tuesday at noon and reach out if you have any questions. We will see our swimmers tomorrow afternoon at practice!
