Stingrays Families!

What a fun and exciting way to start the season! Excellent job to all our swimmers! We saw so many great swims, lots of loud cheering, and a little rain. A special thank you to our swim team managers, computer managers, coaches, and all our awesome volunteers!

Swimmers of the Week

Each week, the coaches pick two swimmers on the team to be our "Swimmer of the Week." These swimmers are chosen based on their meet performance and effort, their positive attitudes, team spirit, and sportsmanship. Our coaching staff had too many great swimmers to choose from but congrats to the swimmers this week:

• Monday June 6th - Thursday June 9th - Regular Morning Practice
• Thursday, June 9th: 2nd Swim Meet! 
• Friday, June 10th: Picture Day and Fun Friday 10am-11:30am

Swim Meet #2

Our second swim meet is next Thursday, June 9th! We will be competing against Roswell Rapids and it will be a home meet. Swimmers should arrive at the Inverness pool on Thursday at 4:15pm. Details about the meet will follow. PLEASE remember to sign up your swimmer for the swim meet by Tuesday, June 7th at noon: https://invernessstingrays.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

Volunteers

We made it through our first meet! If you are new to swim meets, now you may understand a little better how all of our volunteers help the meet run. All families are required to sign up for 5 volunteer positions throughout the swim meet. Please see Coach Sara, Allie Fleckner, or our team managers if you have questions about a position. We are here to help you understand your volunteer position so we can have a successful meet.
