Hi Stingray Parents,

As we’ve already learned this season, swim season often means rainy season too!
A few friendly reminders as we navigate the summer weather:

• Although the clubhouse may be unlocked during practice, especially during inclement weather; it is reserved for swim coaches and swim team managers only. To help ensure our coaches and volunteers have the space they need to run practice safely and efficiently, we ask that parents and swimmers remain outside of the clubhouse during practice times. If it is raining, please plan to wait under an umbrella, in the breezeway near the bathrooms, or in your vehicle until practice concludes.

• Please send your swimmer with extra towels and consider bringing a rain jacket or umbrella for yourself. You never know when the weather may take a turn.

• If thunder is heard, everyone must exit the pool immediately. Per safety guidelines, swimmers cannot return to the water until 30 minutes after the last thunder is heard.

• Be sure to check the GroupMe app regularly for the latest updates regarding weather delays, cancellations, or schedule changes.
